Ma’ Plucker’s Friday Night Burger Review
While some people believe eating is usually considered cheating when you’re set for a big night out… I’m not in that camp. Neither is Ma’ Plucker it seems as they have created the biggest burger I’ve ever seen in my life. Available on only Friday nights, this gigantic burger consists of buttermilk dipped chicken, rotisserie chicken, bbq pulled chicken and a waffle in a brioche bun with crunchy lettuce. All for £10!
We arrived at Ma’ Plucker and were warmly greeted by the staff members there. The menu was then explained to us and recommendations made about which sides and drinks would compliment our burgers. We chose to try the Crack and Cheese, Coleslaw and Fries to go with our Friday night burgers! And boy are we glad we did. Each side was absolutely delicious and complemented our burgers the way all good sides do. The Crack and Cheese was exceptionally good.
Now let’s talk about this MASSIVE BURGER!! Showcasing all three chicken fillings Ma’ Plucker is famous for and a waffle it’s a mountain of a burger. We definitely felt like we were on Man Vs Food tackling this burger.
It was amazingly so easy to defeat these mammoth beast of a burger! The rotisserie chicken and the BBQ chicken were so moist, slightly sweet and delicious! I seriously want all my chicken to be coated in the BBQ chicken marinade that coated the burger.
To wash down our delicious lunch we had a Southern Comfort Shrub Cocktail (peach and ginger) and a Ma’ Plucker Long Island iced tea. Both cocktails were thirst quenching but it’s the food that really steals the show here! I mean even after eating this scrumptious burger… we were eyeing of the Afternoon Tea that the girls sitting next to us were enjoying… it looked amazing and definitely calls for another visit to Ma’ Plucker.
Make sure you plan your next Friday out and line your stomach properly! Hungover you on Saturday will definitely thank you for it!
