Madera Launches ‘Afternoon Te-Quila’ with Casamigos This Summer

If your idea of afternoon tea is more margarita than Earl Grey, Madera has just the thing.

This summer, the Cali-Mexican restaurant at Treehouse Hotel London has teamed up with Casamigos Tequila to launch Afternoon Te-Quila, a playful twist on the British classic that swaps finger sandwiches for tacos and adds a tequila cocktail to the mix.

Available until 31 August, the limited-edition experience is served on a traditional three-tier stand, bringing together Mexican flavours and afternoon tea favourites. Savoury highlights include Chicken Coronation Tacos, Tequila-Cured Salmon Gravlax and Habanero Prawn Wraps, while those with a sweet tooth can look forward to freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam alongside Coconut Panna Cotta.

The experience also includes Madera’s signature Toca Margarita, giving the afternoon tea an appropriately spirited finish.

Priced at £38 per person (minimum two guests), Afternoon Te-Quila is served daily from 2pm to 5pm on Madera’s 15th-floor terrace and dining room, where floor-to-ceiling windows and lush greenery frame panoramic views across the London skyline.

For those looking to shake up their summer plans, this tequila-fuelled take on afternoon tea offers a fun alternative to the traditional spread.

Afternoon Te-Quila is available from 15 June to 31 August at Madera, Treehouse Hotel London. Bookings can be made via the restaurant’s website.
