Pie legend and chef extraordinaire, Mark Greenaway has successfully proven that pies are not just winter warmers, thanks to the creation of his knockout Summer Pie: Strawberry and Cream.
I was lucky to arrive home today to one that they had sent and I am not even lying… I inhaled it. Hands down the only dessert I want to eat from now on!
The pie launched on the same day as Wimbledon (Monday 28th June) and Mark’s Summer Pie is a homage to Britain’s quintessential summer flavours. Made from a baked strawberry cheesecake base and topped with Scottish strawberries and Madagascan vanilla cream, it was perfection!
