Montague Beach Bar Review

image001The Beach Bar is back for its second year running after such a fantastic start last summer! Aren’t we excited! Nothing screams summertime more than cocktails in coconuts, BBQ treats, sand beneath our toes enjoying the long sunny days. Minus the blue waters but hey, we are talking about London and seeing as it’s already the greatest city in the world (maybe a little bias), we can’t have everything.

The Montague have created something to make us feel as if we are on vacation without leaving the city, giving off a Bahamas vibe with drums playing in the background, jet-ski in the corner and a beach-hut thatch roof on their terrace.

The staff take on the role and make the whole experience come together effortlessly. Offering friendly, punctual service, with genuine smiles on their faces, happy to engage in conversation if they are not too busy. Everyone looks happy to be there which only adds to the holiday atmosphere.

This isn’t the only experience that The Montague offers. Throughout winter they turn this same terrace into a ski lodge topped off with fake snow and all which has been running successfully for approximately 7 years. They definitely have the experience in knowing what the customers like and how to turn it into an unforgettable day/evening.Screen Shot 2017-05-22 at 22.11.33

Make sure you jump on that jet-ski and take a few snaps to post them on social media. You will be entered into the completion to win a trip for 2 to their sister hotel in the luxurious 5* Summer Lodge Country House hotel and spa in the breathtaking area that is Dorset countryside. Yes please! Don’t forget to tag #SurfMontague to be in the running.

What a way to say ‘Welcome back summer!’ Finally, it’s a time to be free of all the layers. Put your coats to the back of the closet. Its time lap up this sunshine before it’s gone, to escape the monotony of work in winter life. Make the most of these long days, get out and enjoy that fresh air and this is the place to do it.

Make sure you call ahead if you are planning on going with more than 5 people, so that an area can be reserved for you. Don’t risk missing out. This venue is also available for private functions.
