New Opening: Arenella

Last Sunday marked the launch of Arenella at The Chapel Bar, a brand new autumnal alfresco terrace, in the heart of Islington. On weekends from 12.00 – 17.00, Arenella are offering up a Southern Italian inspired bottomless lunch; a mouth-watering 2 course meal and free-flowing spritzes and Prosecco.

We know what you’re thinking, an outside terrace as we move into autumn?! The terrace is of course adequately heated and boarded by plants and hedges giving a comforting, relaxed atmosphere. With the tables carefully spaced apart to allow for social distancing, ensuring each guest feels completely comfortable and at ease whilst dining in a safe and sanitised environment.

Arenella is named after the seaside town in Sicily near to where the owners’ mother grew up and where the family’s love affair with simple honest food originates. The menu features various seasonal dishes inspired by the region; warming stews and freshly made pasta mains, the food menu includes:
• Caponata – aubergines, capers, pine nuts
• Nduja Tortellini and red pesto
• Tortelloni Mushroom and truffle, butter and parmesan
• Cioppino – Seafood stew, fregola
• Sicilian lemon polenta cake

The £35 bottomless option offers guests the choice of Prosecco or a selection of delectable Italian spritz cocktails such as Aperol, Vino Bianco and Elderflower, accompanied by 2 courses per person.
