Notice to Italians hit hard by football crisis

This one goes out to all Italians living in the UK. We know your summer has been blighted by the shock result in the qualifying rounds of the World Cup. Italy’s “national disaster” – drawing 0-0 to Sweden and not qualifying for the first time since 1958 has probably left you irritated every single time a game comes on TV.
So, to ease the pain, five Ask Italians across the country are opening their doors on England’s key match dates and inviting Italians to join them for a FREE pizza and craft beer (obviously Italian). At least you can find solace somewhere when the pubs are crammed with football fans.

The small print is that you have to visit London Spring Street, London Wigmore Street, Birmingham, Manchester or Liverpool’s restaurants to get the deal – and you have to be within the first 100 Italians to arrive on the 18th June or the 28th June.

Other than that, it really is a free lunch (or dinner). Download your offer code for the 18th here, the 28th here, and don’t forget your passport (otherwise anyone could pretend!)
