Oslo’s Summer Cocktail Menu

If you’re looking for a new favourite cocktail to match this summer with, Oslo in Hackney have recently launched their new summer menu, and we have to say it’s pretty awesome. Featuring a brand new selection of delicious, refreshing concoctions, to accompany those warmer days, with some quirky twists on some old time favourites. Such as the Melon Mojito keeping the menu fresh and funky.

We popped down to try the the new menu for ourselves. I have to admit I started with my Oslo regular, the salted caramel martini, which can only be described as heaven in a cup, but then shortly moved on to the Oslo Spritz; Rosolio Di Bergamotto, Luxardo Bitter Bianco, Pear, Ginger And Yuzu Sherbet & Prosecco. A pretty bold choice of flavours, but it really does work, with the pear and ginger giving it a really rejuvenating kick! The Cyclone; Havana Anejo Rum, Kumquat Liqueur, Blood Orange Puree, Mango Juice, Passion Fruit, Kumquat And Cardamom Syrup and Fresh Lime Juice is a good shout if you like something sweet with your rum and the Toreador; Ocho Tequila Reposado, Apricot Liqueur & Fresh Lime Juice if you fancy something with a Mexican kick.

A bit of an insider tip; although the cocktail menu is spot on keep an eye on the specials board. We finished up with an Aqwuit Negroni. A really delicious cocktail with a bit of a punch, the use of the scandi spirit Aqwuit really spiced up one of our favourite classics.
