Outdoor screening of The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert

If you’re Australian like me, you would have grown up watching The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert. So I’m excited to announce that the The Nomad Cinema in partnership with Australia’s Northern Territory and Singapore Airlines will be showing a special one-off screening of The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, in the aptly named Queen’s Park, London on the evening of Thursday 30th August.

The iconic Aussie film which stars Terrance Stamp and Guy Pearce was mainly filmed in the Northern Territory of Australia. On the night attendees will be able to learn more about Australia’s original Outback as well as be in with a chance of winning a pair of return tickets to Darwin with Singapore Airlines.

Your ticket entry allows not only the screening of the movie but they’ll also be pre-show entertainment. This includes a short act by the ‘Doyen of cabaret” Paulus as well as inspirational footage from the wild and culturally rich Northern Territory. The first 150 guests through the door will receive free popcorn courtesy of Singapore Airlines and in typical Aussie style there will be a BBQ and bar on site. Guests are encouraged to dress up for the event and they are also welcome to bring in their own food and beverage.

Tickets cost from £12 to £14, however, OnIn.London has five pairs of tickets to the screening to give away to our lucky readers. To enter just make sure you follow us on twitter and retweet the post with this link. By winning you’ll also be in with a chance to win a trip to the Northern Territory.
