Pasta Evangelists Delivery Review

Sometimes on a Friday night, all you need to end the week is a glass (or bottle) of wine, and a bowl of delicious comfort food. This week, we ordered delivery from Pasta Evangelists, which is the perfect way to spend a chilled Friday night in.

Their website has a huge range of dishes available for takeaway, catering to everyone’s dietary requirements. As we were spoiled for choice, we ordered the Meal Deal for 4; which included four pasta dishes and four sides or drinks.

I decided to try something different to my usual pasta order (think creamy sauce with salmon), and ordered the Basil Pesto with Rigatoni, which had a really fresh and summery taste. We also ordered the rich and creamy Truffle Cacio e Pepe with spaghetti, Carbonara with pancetta and tagliatelle and luscious Beef and Chianti Ragù with rigatoni.

As there were only three of us eating, we shared the pastas and ordered sides of Nocellara olives and Tomato focaccia, as well as a few soft drinks, to complete the deal.

All the pasta and sauces tasted really fresh and as there were so many dishes I liked the sound of but didn’t have space to try, I will definitely be ordering again! Orders over £25 qualify for free delivery and the website offers lots of little extras and deals, like a free tub of ice cream over a certain amount spent – any excuse for ice cream!
