Pickering’s Gin Bauble Popup Review

It’s almost Christmas, let the fun be-GIN!

Last week was the official press launch of Christmas, or at least it felt like it with Pickering’s Gin and their famous gin baubles, at Shoreditch’s TT Liquor.

Donned in our Christmas jumpers (of course), we were welcomed downstairs with Christmas themed gin cocktails finished off with red berries and sugared snow, and entered the Pickering’s Grown Up Grotto.

We were greeted by Marcus Pickering, the owner of the gin brand and distillery, and his wonderful team including brand ambassador Stevie Watson, where we learned all about the gin, the story behind the brand and of course the baubles!

This was followed by a tasting (which we were all here for) of their new fruit gin liquor, and sloe gin. And then we were invited to create our own cocktail, using the baubles, and a host of various ingredients including edible gold, star anise and various different fruits and juices. This was great fun, experimenting with taste, texture and appearance – and we all got a little competitive as a bottle of Pickerings was up for grabs!

Open this week to the public, grab Christmas by the Baubles on Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st November. Hosted again in the cellar cocktail bar at TT Liquor, get your tickets and welcome in the festive spirit with a gin bauble or heck – a whole tree’s worth!
