Dinos In The Wild Review

Dinosaurs in the Wild launched globally at Birmingham’s NEC on 24th June 2017, where it ran until 23rd August 2017 before appearing in Manchester until January 2018. From there, Dinosaurs in the Wild opened on the 12th February 2018 and will be there until September 2018.

Our excitement at attending the press launch was tremendous. Especially at the thought of travelling back in time through the unique time machine 67 million years to encounter amazing creatures like Tyrannosaurus rex and Triceratops roaming the wild.

The show itself was a fun and imagitive journey from start to finish with no detail being overlooked. We were definitely totally immersed and felt like we really had journied back in time.

Your adventure begins in the main hall where you’re given a debrief before driving through a field of dangerous dinosaurs. On your journey you’ll even get to watch a dinosaur autopsy, witness hatchlings emerging from eggs, plunge your hands into dinosaur poo, and visit a lookout, with panoramic views of the teeming prehistoric life in every direction. It’s incredibly realistic and the actors do make sure everyone gets involved in the experience. While the kids definitely enjoyed themselves at the launch, I think it was us big kids that enjoyed the show even more. It was simply magical!

Tickets to Dinosaurs in the Wild can be booked  from the website and start from £25 for Advanced Off-peak adult tickets and £85 for Advanced Off-peak family tickets (2 adults and 2 children). It’ll be a unique family day out so make sure you don’t miss out!
