Seriously Rip-Resist Tights Land On Carnaby Street

The iconic British destination, Carnaby Street is the latest scene to host the incredible world of Sheertex Tights.

Following the success of their New York Pop-up store, the London store on 29 Carnaby Street launches on Friday 10th February 2023, running through Sunday 26th February 2023.
Hailing from Montreal, Canada and boasting patent-pending technology, Sheertex tights can handle all the tugging, pulling, and nail- snagging you can throw at them, without ending up in the bin after a couple of wears. Sheertex tights are truly one-of- a-kind and are able to withstand some seriously unique durability tests. Name another pair of tights that can be stuffed with pineapples, conch shells, fire extinguishers and even withstand pet claws and still come out unscathed.

The London pop-up store will offer five of their best-selling styles; including Classic Sheer Rip Resist Tights, Shaping Sheer Rip Resist Tights, Super-Sheer Rip-Resist Tights, with 2 other surprise patterned tights. Sheertex tights are available in inclusive sizing from XS to 3XL (sizes 4 – 24) and feature a wide yoga- style waistband, unique cooling feel and of course, the patent-pending resilient Sheertex knit technology.
Founded and invented by serial entrepreneur Katherine Homuth, in frustration with existing hosiery’s lack of durability, Sheertex makes the most resilient sheer tights, developed over a period of two years of research to find one of the world’s strongest polymers and turn it into a soft, sheer knit that feels and looks amazing.

Employing a polymer used in bullet-proof vests and mountaineering equipment, Homuth and her team tried and tested multiple blends and knitting techniques (the strength of the yarn literally shattering machinery along the way) before hitting the jackpot; a blend of the polymer, nylon and lycra that looks and feels like traditional sheer hosiery whilst being all but indestructible. These are the tights you’ll keep forever.

Sheertex tights are responsibly made in Canada using 99% renewable hydro-energy and shipped in compostable and recyclable packaging, and come with a 90-day guarantee. The company is currently undertaking extensive research to allow for the future recycling of used tights, separating the materials and feeding them back into their manufacturing process, creating a pathway towards circularity.

The London pop-up store opens its doors on 29 Carnaby Street from Friday 10th February 2023 – Sunday 26th February 2023, from 10:00am – 20:00 pm, Monday – Saturday and 10:00 am – 18:00pm on Sunday.
