Shoes that SHOUT!

It’s all about shoes that don’t whisper but shout!!! The shoes you wear that even get the attention of men and women with there mouths dropped open, thinking damnnnn…where are those shoes from. As a shoe lover, I only like to purchase shoes that turn heads and get tongues wagging. My recent purchase are a pair of black court shoes but the SHOUT is in the heel of the shoe, the heel is made out of glass/perplex……just imagine that my very own glass shoe, felt like a princess wearing them.

For SS13, the infamous ballerina pumps have taken a turn for the best. They stand to make a huge statement. The popular chunky looking platform are on its way out as the pointed stiletto is the new look for the pump. The 2013 pump now has a very pointed toe, with a very high and thin heel. The pump will have many different embellishments such as spikes, bows, buckles and even baubles. Not forgetting the bold beautiful colours and prints. Ladies start trading in you chunky heels for the new killer heel.

The killer pumps are not for the faint hearted as this trend will be hard on our ankles and arches ladies. The stilettos were so high the runways were a warzone for the models at London Fashion Week, with them taking slips and trips due to the heels……….

Ankle boots are still very much on trend. They are a bit higher up the ankle, and sport many different heel heights. The booties of 2013 are sporty, with an edge, lots of hardware, and embellishments. You will see tons of booties styles that have shearling added in all the right places.

Metallic shoes are really in this season too, especially metallic pointed toes, absolutely stunning. They are fierce. However, my favourite trend has to be shoes with transparent/perplex heels. They are a must this season; they can be worn with everything. They have the ability to make every woman feel more feminine and womanly. The Perspex adds an edge that makes the shoe grown up and the heel adds just the right amount of glamour to still be wearable yet fabulous.
