Sticks’N’Sushi introduces a boozy take on the traditional tea ritual

Who doesn’t love a cool refreshing Iced tea on a warm sunny day. As we ebb slowly towards spring we are seeing increasing sunnier days. Still, with the crisp air you might feel more like sipping a hot cuppa than indulging in an iced tea. However, Sticks’n’Sushi, has come up with a tea-rrific Iced Tea event that might persuade you otherwise. Just as they have blended two culinary traditions inspired by their half Japanese, half Danish background, the team has created a unique event that combines the feel good and relaxing qualities of the traditional tea ritual with a boozy twist.

If you participate in dry January or Veganuary (well done BTW), it means you missed out on Ginuary and now you might be craving something that’s not plant-based. So why not indulge in some ‘guil-tea’ pleasures this February with a Tea’cktail Masterclass. In partnership with the House of Suntory, Sticks ‘n’ Sushi have created four iced tea cocktails using their celebrated spirits; Haku Vodka, Roku Gin and Toki Whisky – combined with the fresh, relaxing and antioxidant properties of Camellia’s Tea House blends for something truly exceptional.

The event will take place over two exclusive evening sessions from 6:00pm – 7:30pm and 8:00pm – 9:30pm on Tuesday 22nd February at their Canary Wharf Lounge. In the immersive class, guests will be taken on a sensory journey, learning about scents, flavours, mixology, the history of tea and how these combine to form the night’s taster cocktails created by an expert mixologist. Guests will be able to sip and savour the cocktail creations alongside a carefully paired selection of Sticks’n’Sushi’s renowned classic nibbles.

Not only that, all attendees will take home a goodie bag with House of Suntory minis, loose leaf tea and a recipe booklet to try your newly honed cocktail skills at home. This is a perfect after-work event to unwind and have some fun. So gets some friends/colleagues together, and get the ‘par-tea’ started.
Tickets are selling fast and are available through Design My Night.
