Summer at Nobu Shoreditch

You can’t get a pint of beer for £3 anywhere in London, right? False. And the place serving up these cheap pints is definitely much more stylish than you would think.

Nobu Hotel Shoreditch, tucked off Great Eastern Street, is the place to go and to be seen. With a terrace, bar and restaurant, they have a setting for every mood and offers a classy, calm place to watch the  summer hours go by, while sipping on some tasty cocktals.

The drink and food on offer are Asian inspired but incorporate other influences, you could try barbecued Kushiyaki skewers, lunch time salads or Wagyu beef. Wash them down with cocktails and japanese beers, gins and whiskies.

Best of all is their Kampai happy hour from 5-7pm – where you can grab pints of Asahi for £3, cocktails for £7 and (thankfully) some light bites to keep you sober. If the happy hour gets you in the mood, you’ll probably be tempted by their Wagyu Whisky Wednesday where Nobu takes to the terrace, lights up the barbecue and hosts live DJ sets.

If you’re just passing through and can’t handle the heat, grab one of their luxury soft serve ice creams from the cafe – flavours from traditional to experimental are available in a cone or a takeaway tub (£3).
