Keep an eye out for the Brooklyn Brewery Pumpkin Ale too.

Now for those who don’t mind to dig a little deeper in there piggy bank…

Joe Allen
Covent Garden’s classic American restaurant is serving a traditional menu for £40 per person. The menu includes the Thanksgiving appetiser pulled pork and duck terrine with spiced plum and sour dough, followed by Sussex bronze slow-cooked Thanksgiving turkey and maple bacon bangers, pumpkin pie and marinated cherries, and coffee with petit fours.

Hix Mayfair

Mark Hix’s other London restaurants are resolutely British, but at Brown’s Hotel in Mayfair, Thanksgiving dinner is a fixture. Three courses will include pumpkin soup with cinnamon and pumpkin muffins, roast turkey with baked sweet potatoes, and a pecan and bourbon tart finished with very English clotted cream, plus coffee and truffles. £52.50 per person. Telephone booking essential.

The Lockhart
One of London’s most recent American home-from-home additions, The Lockhart, is going one better than simple US food from 28 November – 1 December, with a Thanksgiving dinner menu paired with Californian wines. The menu includes; two main courses – including the traditional smoked heritage turkey; plus desserts of pecan pie with maple bourbon ice cream, and the classic pumpkin pie served with vanilla whipped cream. £60 per person (includes wines and a small recipe book containing tips on how to replicate this Thanksgiving dinner at home).

So those are my recommendations, so please do indulge as  its your chance to have a pre-Christmas turkey dinner with a reason to to maybe party too.
