The London Chocolate Show 2014

Last week saw The Chocolate Show hit London Olympia. The festival is Mecca for all chocolate connoisseurs, enthusiasts and people who are just partial to a little bit of the brown stuff.

Exhibitors included the chocolate giant Lindt and the stylish Hotel Chocolat, however the spotlight firmly highlighted the independent chocolatier. A personal favourite of mine was the House of Dorchester; an independent chocolate house from Dorchester (who in no way swayed my opinion with a yummy salted caramel pretzel…which was divine).

We were spoilt with numerous chocolate tastings, a children’s chocolate play area, and demonstrations by GBBO’s Ed Kimber & John Waite as well as top chocolatier Will Torrent. However the main event was the chocolate fashion show with creations made entirely out of, you guessed it, chocolate. The Chocolate Show was a great place to spend an afternoon and buy some of the worlds best chocolate.
