The Ultimate Zen Yoga alongside Fluffy Kittens

Move aside Puppy Yoga, there’s a new cat in town…

Puppy yoga has exploded in recent years across the capital. We all love puppies of course, but I have to tell you about my amazing experience at Kitty Yoga.

With a beautiful yoga studio situated in Old Street, each class welcomes you to stretch out on the mat, whilst kittens are unleashed upon the space for you to play with and hug to your heart’s content. Each litter that is welcomed into the space are in their first 12 weeks of life.

It’s during this time, kittens learn who is safe and trustworthy, meaning it’s a critical tie for socialisation and the tiny balls of fluff are at their peak of curiosity. Whilst at puppy yoga, the dogs tend to have a burst of energy and then fall asleep, kittens are endlessly playful, making for a fun and interactive class.

The yoga itself is taught by a fully qualified instructor and is relaxing in nature, allowing you down time to play and cuddle the kittys during the session. The care and consideration the team awarded the kittens was really admirable and it was clear a good time was had by all – people and felines included.

Best of all, 50p of each ticket is donated to Guardian Angels Animal Support, a strictly non-profit animal rescue, shelter and re-homing organisation run entirely by volunteers working within the London Borough of Hounslow and surrounding areas.
