The Westminster London Review

In April, Onin.London went to visit The Westminster London. This beautiful hotel is close to Westminster Station and is home to expertly designed bedrooms, concept dining with STK Steakhouse and bowling alley, Bao Yum Café and flexible event space.

Location wise this, this hotel is great as it’s close to all the landmarks that London is famous for. Yet it also feels slight secluded and away from the hustle and bustle. This made for a great night’s sleep as the room was quiet and it was easy to forget we were in Central London.

The Westminster London is a huge hotel with 464 uniquely designed rooms and suites across eight categories, with all rooms featuring separate bedroom and dressing areas. We were promised ‘striking wall prints, floor to ceiling windows, textured furnishings and mood lighting take centre stage and amenities include 49-inch smart TVs, giant high-pressure rainfall showers and Nespresso machines’. And the Westminster London delivered. Our room was stunning. The room we also had a gorgeous bath, a huge plus for my friend and I who stayed there. It’s always a luxury when a hotel has a bath and one that is not designed for children.

After throughly enjoying the view in our room, which consisted of The Thames, we ventured upstairs to the STK Steakhouse for dinner.

If you’re a fan of STK Steakhouse, you won’t be disappointed here. Service was immaculate as always, as was the food and drink on offer. We’d definitely recommend a Dirty Martini at the bar to start before setting down for dinner. One of the best ones we’ve had in London. Food wise… we throughly enjoyed theYELLOWFIN TUNA TARTARE and CRIPSY CALAMARI to start but the star of the show was the main, SURF AND TURF FILET STEAK WITH LOBSTER TAIL. Our meal was paired with a delightful red wine, which just made the meal even more special. Everything about our meal was sublime and we knew we’d sleep well with full bellies and smiles on our faces.

The next morning we headed back to STK for a buffet breakfast. Definitely don’t skip the Fresh Omelette Station. Best part of the breakfast and had me set up for the rest of the day.

We had a great stay at The Westminster London and guests should be pleased to know that from check-in to check-out, they’re safe with Hilton’s CleanStay programme. New standards include a Hilton CleanStay Room Seal to indicate that a room has not been accessed since being thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, increased frequency of cleaning of all public areas, and flexible housekeeping options.  All great information to know that put me at ease during my stay.

The Westminster London is also part of Hilton Honors, the award-winning guest-loyalty programme for Hilton’s 18 distinct hotel brands. Hilton Honors members who book directly through preferred Hilton channels have access to instant benefits including a flexible payment slider that allows members to choose nearly any combination of Points and money to book a stay, exclusive member discounts, free standard Wi-Fi and access to the Hilton Honors mobile app.

Nightly room rates start from £165, or Hilton Honors members can redeem Points using the Points Explorer tool.
