YolanDa Brown – Reggae Love Songs Tour

On a chilly valentine’s evening, whilst most people were exchanging romantic glances over candlelit dinners, I found myself in a packed West London jazz club.

Usually hesitant about instrumental-lead gigs, I was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding saxophonist, YolanDa Brown.

A refreshing repertoire of nostalgic reggae and jazz love songs, YolanDa delivers an enthralling performance totally captivating her audience. She has truly mastered her art, no surprise then that she is a double MOBO award winner.

Befitting her accomplished virtuosity, her band was equally phenomenal and exciting to watch.

At the end of the gig there were no prima-donna antics, as YolanDa was generous with her time signing autographs, taking photos and chatting.
