Leicester Square Theatre: Slightly Fat Features Variety Soup – Review
It has been nearly 48 hours since witnessing the hair brained antics of the Slightly Fat Features troupe in Variety Soup and my tummy still hurts from the laugh out loud performance. From beginning to end the team had not only me but the whole audience in fits of hysterical laughter with the good old fashioned and just plain silly comedic acts. The show opened with an introductory juggling performance involving three of the troupe members and eventually nine batons. The interaction between the three was hilarious turning a seemingly typical performance into a uniquely fantastical experience that I am…

The show sold our during this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and after what was an impressive immersive performance I could definitely see why. “From the moment his tall, red-and-white-striped hat appeared around the door, Sally and her brother knew that the cat in the hat is the funniest, most mischievous cat they have ever met. With the…

Review: L’Eto Caffe Brompton Road
Let’s go getto L’Eto! Well the lights were burning bright when we got there, located next to Skandium (where if furniture was food I would eat the lot) on the Brompton Road. The place itself is very inviting and sophisticated looking; appearing very much the sort of place you drop in and get some sophisticated lunch to take away or one of the incredible looking cakes from the counter. And if you were to do that, I am sure that you would be happy; but you would be missing out on so much that the place has to offer. After…
