STICKS’N’SUSHI VALENTINE’S Day Package Review

This Valentine’s Day, we wanted to stay in and enjoy a romantic meal at home so what better way than with Sticks’n’Sushi. The restaurant is known for its high-quality, fresh food based on a unique combination of traditional sushi and yakitori sticks from the grill. I haven’t had the pleasure of visiting before, but it is a firm favourite with quite a few of my friends.

To celebrate the day of love, Sticks’n’Sushi have created a gorgeous Eat-In and Take-Away Valentine’s Menu which is available from Friday 11th – Monday 14th February at all their restaurants. For £100 you can guarantee you will get 12 amazing dishes that will have you not wanting to stop eating! The menu includes Tempura shrimp; Hotate Ceviche – scallops with lime, coriander, red onion and tiger’s milk; Aburi Wagyu Nigiri – seared wagyu, supreme soy, tsume and cress, Gindara No Miso – miso marinated black cod, and Uzura Shioyaki – quail, salt and lemon.

We didn’t know where to start as each dish looked and smelt divine. Our favourites did have to be the Gindara No Miso and the Hotate Ceviche but it was the sushi that stole our hearts. Absolutely delicious. Each dish was fresh, flavourful and made me feel nostalgic for home. I grew up eating quail, so the Uzura Shioyaki especially made me feel very homesick as it was just like my dad used to make. Uzura Shioyaki made me feel very homesick as it was just like my dad used to make. Actually we had very little complaints about our meal, though we would recommend eating in if you live outside the delivery zone.
To make our dining in experience that much more romantic, Sticks’n’Sushi had us covered. We loved that the QR codes attached to our boxes had a playlist of romantic songs curated by Sticks’n’Sushi and the chance to learn how to make our own origami crane. Such a fun little touch which made things even more special.

As mentioned already the menu is priced at £100 for two people, and you can add a 10g can of Exmoor Caviar for £10 if you really want to spoil your date even more.

So why not get ordering and spend Valentines Day at home this year with the loved one in your life!
