Afternoon Par-Tea at the Cocktail Trading Company Review

Much-loved Shoreditch bar The Cocktail Trading Co. continues to innovate with the launch of their Afternoon Par-Tea series every Saturday from 1-3pm. We attended the first event and it was everything we could have asked for from a boozy revamp of the traditional afternoon tea. Wonderful staff welcomed us into this cozy and laid-back London hideaway and immediately treated us to the perfect punch — flavourful but not too sweet, and adorned with edible flowers. Then came the cocktails, which were inventive and delicious.

No afternoon tea offering would be complete without a selection of nibbles, and CTC delivered on that front: dainty little sandwiches and cakes were presented on the classic three-tiered stand, all traditional yet done well, they went down a treat. And did we mention the DJ takes all your loopiest song requests? Do your worst, and make sure to sing along!
