Ask for Janice
‘When life hands you lemons, make a G&T’. With this sign catching my eye upon walking into Ask for Janice, how could I not have some Gin at this popular bar in Farringdon near Barbican station.
With an extensive Gin, spirit and mixer list, it was hard to choose what kind of drink to make. I’m Good thing staff were happy to mix up two gin based drinks and a rum based drink to try. Each were refreshing and went down a treat with the small plates and snacks available.
We had the ‘Chorizo, Sherry and Sourdough’, ‘Braised Beef Croquettes and Mustard’ and a side of ‘Garlic Fries’. Both my friend and I enjoyed these and definitely could have gone a second helping of the Chorizo dish.
Ask for Janice was packed with people enjoying drinks and the tempting snacks on offer. So it’s a lovely venue for after work drinks or when you’re keen for the start of a big night out.
