Backyard Cinema are bringing the spirit of LA to Camden’s Roundhouse

New season, new epic set make over. As we move into the warmer months Backyard Cinema has a announced their latest installation at one of London’s most iconic venues. Launching 18th July, the team are transforming Camden’s Roundhouse into LA’s legendary Venice Beach, with a season of retro summer parties in the ultimate summer cinema.
Boasting giant palm trees, a retro beach bar, and a sea of giant bean bags on the sand, the pop up promises to be the ultimate Summer time pop up.

Visitors will be invited to sing their hearts out at a ‘Sing-a-Long Beach Parties’ alongside 400 other movie lovers. There’s films for all ages and so you can be sure there will be something to see for everyone; this year’s best blockbusters including Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, The Lego Movie 2, A Star is Born and Stan and Ollie and of course Backyard classics Back to the Future and Clueless. There will also be dazzling light shows and real-life dancers even the most tone-deaf will be in the mood to join in. And for those of you worried about the famous British summer time ruining their LA vibes, you can rest assured that Backyard Cinema have it, literally, covered, with a purpose built covering to protect against wetter nights.
