In an age of loosening morals, soaring stocks and bootleg barons, opulence and exuberance is the order of the day at The Prohibition Party. Guests will be transported back to the giddy magic of the Roaring Twenties, a time when footloose flappers danced the Charleston, card sharp cads tried their luck at the roulette table, and everyone quaffed on the free-flowing bootlegged booze. The Prohibition Party is a rip-roaring foray into a time in which sumptuous glamour met unbridled mischief. This NYE Special will deliver enough glitz, glamour and riotous merriment to last the rest of the year. Relive this golden age with all its sensation and allure, where opulence, exuberance and wanton waywardness were the order of the day. Throughout the night, entertainment includes live bands, DJs on gramophones, silent cinema, dancing troupes and gambling tables. In order to escape the prying eyes of the police, cocktail menus are circulated hidden inside the pages of books, and drinks are served in teacups. !   – THE PROHIBITION PARTY, NEW YEAR’S EVE SPECIAL – Thursday 31st December 2015, 9pm – 3am  Tickets, from £55, can be purchased by visiting the Prohibition website or calling 020 7724 1617.! 1475988_594946260554405_624353674_n The Dark Circus Party ! Roll up, roll up for an evening of abandoned dancing, pleasure seeking and spectacular entertainment this New Year’s Eve at the Dark Circus Party. Bourne & Hollingsworth invites London’s hedonists to pack their corsets, collapse their top hats, and run away to the circus. The Dark Circus Party transports guests into a carnival of curiosities – a dark, dreamy and ever so slightly depraved world of illusion and unbridled visual delight. An evening celebrating all that is glamorous, provocative and a little bit risqué. The Dark Circus Party invites its guests to step over to the dark side without becoming completely engulfed in the shadows. Bridging the gap between mainstream and niche, The Dark Circus Party offers an experience that is surreal and subversive, without being scary or strange, and indulges the thrill of disguise with sequins, costumes and masks. The party’s entertainment follows a traditional circus bill, but with a twisted Dark Circus theme; guests can expect awe inspiring aerial acts, treacherous trapeze artists and ethereal silks performances. Sip on potent cocktails and peruse the stage from the intimate curtained areas on the mezzanine level or pay a visit to Miss Marguerite’s painted wagon for a lesson in costume make up. So pick a persona, embrace your inner voyeur and enter the carnival of curiosities for a night of abandoned dancing, breath taking performances and a magical New Year’s Eve spectacle.
