Londoners will never miss the opportunity to combine drinking and dining with altitude especially in sunny weather. But, how many of you are thinking about climate change whilst soaking up the rays & admiring the views?
With temperatures soaring above 30C, concerns about global warming are increasing, but you don’ t have to be an eco warrior to do your bit. Eat and drink sustainably whilst enjoying the rooftop vibes by heading to Camden where the UK’s first eco-conscious market, Buck Street has reopened. Boasting one of the largest roof top terraces in London, it is purposefully designed in statement pink décor with an abundance of contrasting greenery, using sustainable/recycled materials for it’s pink astro turf and pallet sofas. A huge LED screen displays the bold caption: #Pink to make you think! It’s unconventional; it’s edgy, its perfect for an ‘Insta’ moment.
Constructed from recycled shipping containers Buck Street is home to over 80 retailers and 25 food traders providing visitors with eco friendly and sustainable choices. You’ll find innovative independent brands from clothing to accessories, giftware to grooming from the likes of To Home From London, Tea Shirt, Sweyn Forkbeard, Londonworks and Dress up Baby.

The rooftop will also host community activities and events including yoga classes, workshops and outdoor screenings to raise awareness of climate change.
Enjoy alfresco dining late into the evening Illuminated in pink hues, even after a few alcoholic milkshakes and craft artisan gin from The Spirited, you’ll still be thinking pink.
