Burns Night is a traditional celebration in the Scottish calendar, and Torabhaig Single Malt Whisky, the first new distillery on the Isle of Skye for 190 years, has teamed up with GŎNG Bar at Shangri-La The Shard, London to bring the celebration to London with an exclusive cocktail and food pairing menu available for one night only.
Torabhaig is a well-tempered and complex peated Scotch whisky that is shaped by the elegantly rugged natural landscape of Skye, making it the perfect companion to celebrate an iconic Scottish tradition, in a unique London setting. Sip unforgettable whisky cocktails, with unparalleled views of the London skyline at Western Europe’s highest hotel bar, and ‘raise a dram’ this Burns Night.
Guests can enjoy three crafted cocktails with bespoke food pairings expertly chosen to enhance the complexity of the whisky tastings:
· Tropical Peat (made with Torabhaig Legacy, Mango Syrup, Popcorn Syrup, Lime Acid, Mango & Passion Fruit Espuma) paired with mini chicken Yakitori, Togarashi
· Dark Skye (made with Torabhaig Legacy, Tawny Port, Akashi-Tai Umeshu, Noilly Prat, Bitters) paired with house aged Tunworth cheese, winter black truffle
· Forest Affair (made with Torabhaig Legacy, Pomme liqueur, Citrus leaves, Bitters) paired with cured salmon, avocado, lime, grapefruit
All cocktails are priced at £23 each or £28 with food pairing.
