Celebrate the Weekend at Ayllu London’s Immersive Bottomless Brunch
Ayllu London, the sleek Japanese and Peruvian fusion restaurant situated on Paddington’s waterside has been showing up on my social media for a while now. So when Onin.London were invited to welcome in the weekend with a high-energy Immersive Bottomless Brunch, guaranteed to get guests in the party mood…. we signed up immediately.
I mean with live entertainment from vibrant Samba dancers (Saturdays only) and an in-house DJ, plus bottomless food and drink…. It’s a yes from us.
The brunch place every Saturday and Sunday, from 12 pm – 4 pm, the brunch will showcase the best of the Nikkei cuisine with beautifully presented dishes emerging in a plume of dry ice and blaze of fire. With a choice of dishes including beef and aubergine bao buns, seabass ceviche, and uramaki rolls, guests can deliberate over what to order as they immerse themselves in the vibrant and lively atmosphere.
From £37 per person, for 90-minutes of bottomless food or alternatively, those who would like to ramp up the celebrations can enjoy 90-minutes of bottomless food paired with unlimited white wine, red wine, sparkling wine or the cocktail of the week for £55 per person.
The only disappointment of the bottomless drinks selection was that we were told all guests on the table had to stick to the same drink and tables are meant to all choose the same option. Luckily we did manage to request cocktails for my friend and Prosecco for myself as the Mai Tai was not my cup of tea. My friend on the other hand throughly enjoyed it.
Food wise though, this brunch was banging! Guests can choose three dishes each, then when they’ve finished they order three more. By the end of the 90 minutes, we were suitably fed.
Highlights of the meal were definitely the Slow-cooked Short Beef Rib Served with choclo puree, aji amarillo and coriander, the Hot Uramaki Roll
(Cooked salmon, cream cheese, spicy mayo fried in panko butter and tare sauce), the Fish Croquettes, the Beef Bao Buns and both the Salmon and the Pork Tacos. You won’t go wrong if you order these.
We finished our meal with perfectly cooked Churros and smiles on our faces.
Value for money wise, we couldn’t beat Ayullu and will be adding it to our lists of we must return back to brunch spots.
