Chiringuito Launches in Bethnal Green

Bringing a laid back, Spanish, beach hospitality to East London, Bethnal Green’s Museum Gardens is welcoming a new rooftop bar to its grounds this Summer, in the form of an old converted toilet, transformed with mosaic tiles, floor to ceiling windows and an impressive walk-over skylight.

The passion project of a local East-Londoner Alex Dehayen, Chiringtuito is a contemporary all-day bar, patio and rooftop terrace, perfect for everything from your morning coffee to your after work drinks. In true Spanish style, the eclectic cocktail list is accompanied by a mouth-watering tapas menu, offering up sharing delights such as Padron Peppers, Patatas Bravas, Manchego with honey & fig, fish taco and Roast pork belly.

There will also be an array of Spanish gins on offer, and a cocktail menu with Latino twists on classic cocktails such as the Bloody Maria, with a kick of tequila or mezca and Museum Gardens; Basilinfused vodka, St Germain elderflower liquer, fresh lime, sugar and grapefruit bitters. Chiringuito also boasts an impressive list of Cavas and Spanish wines to sip in the sunshine, not forgetting craft beers from local east London breweries such as Trumans and Redchurch.
