COQ D’ARGENT LAUNCHES SUNDAY ROAST

Coq d’Argent, D&D London’s legendary rooftop restaurant located in the heartof the City, is set to launch a Sunday Roast menu. Available from Easter Sunday on 31st March, Coq d’Argent is embracing the bustling weekend crowd with a new menu that puts a classic French twist on the traditional British Sunday feast, offering the perfect addition to indulgent weekend dining.

Created by Head Chef Damien Rigollet, the Sunday roast menu celebrates hearty flavours and comforting ingredients, and will be served across two or three courses, priced at exceptional value.

The main event – Les Rotisseries du Coq d’Argent includes a choice between a 40-day dry aged Angus Hereford Sirloin, an Alan Barrow Brook Street Farm leg of lamb or a French whole cornfed baby chicken, served with a red wine jus and all the trimmings of root vegetables, roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings.

Les Rotisseries sits alongside additional mains, including Loup de mer – seared fillet of sea bass, Devon white crab and prawn risotto with American sauce; Souris d’agneau – rosemary and garlic slow cooked lamb shank, pomme puree and spring onions or for those looking for an extra treat, a Chateaubriand to share with pommes frites.

A selection of starters and desserts are available for guests to choose between. Starters feature the likes of Saumon fume – London oak-smoked salmon on melba toast; Tartare de Boeuf – beef tartare with egg yolk, Avruga caviar and black truffle, and Escargots de Bourgogne – six Burgundian Petits Gris snails with garlic and parsley butter.

Decadent French classics rule the Sunday dessert menu, with options including Tarte Tatin – caramelised apple, cinnamon and gingerbread mousse with salted caramel; a Fondant au chocolat noir – warm dark chocolate fondant with pistachio ice cream; a Crème brûlée, and on the opening Sunday, an Easter special of a Royal Easter chocolate – dark chocolate mousse, caramelised hazelnut praline and Bailey’s ice cream.

To drink, guests can complement the feast with a choice from the Love Wine menu; a selection of fine wines at an accessible price, selected by the sommelier.
