COYA City x Sana Jardin Terrace Collaboration – A sensual, scent-filled celebration of the senses

Summer is well and truly with us, sunshine and longer evening spells, plenty of opportunities for people to enjoy their love affair with alfresco dining. City revellers can take their taste buds and senses on a mouth-watering Peruvian and Latin American culture trip, as COYA City has reopened its renowned outdoor courtyard terrace in the heart of the city, just a stones throw away from Bank Station.

Seated in their alluring garden oasis; bask in the summer sun as you’re taken on a culinary adventure tour of South American culture with an influential, innovative menu that offers a taste experience of mouthwatering vibrant, colourful and flavoursome dishes such as Ceviche, Tiriditos (Peruvian Sashimi) and main sharing courses such as Chilean sea bass, aji amarillo, aji panca and coleslaw.

This year COYA partners with luxury-conscious perfume house, Sana Jardin, to transform this city haven into a fragrant floral paradise. Relax in a diffusion of four of Sana Jardin’s aromatic fragrances  (BERBER BLONDE, REVOLUTION DE LA FLEUR, TIGER BY HER SIDE and INCENSE WATER) emit subtle floral, fruity, sweet, spicy and herbaceous notes throughout the courtyard, awakening your senses.

Further embark on a multi ‘scent-sual’ journey with limited edition carefully curated cocktails available throughout the summer. The unique menu is made up of four indulgent cocktails (priced at £15), created to complement the notes within Sana Jardin’s exhilarating scents:

TIGER BY HER SIDE – a delicious mix of El Jimador tequila thrown with grapefruit juice, toasted coriander, grapefruit cordial, coriander salt and soda;
FLOWER REVOLUTION – a delicate combination of Pisco 1615 Italia shaken with egg white, lemon juice, sugar, rose water and topped with champagne;
NUMBIAN GARDE – a succulent blend of Yaguara cachaça shaken with lavender pods, double cream, egg white, lime & lemon juice and lengthened with soda;
THE TEMPLE – an aromatic drink of Santiago de Cuba 11-year-old rum, smoked with sandalwood and stirred with Punt & Mes, Falernum and tobacco bitters.

As well as sublime flavours and smells, absorb influences in Peruvian culture in the beautiful interior and vibrant use of textiles, juxtaposed against stunning black and white photography depicting Peruvian life and landscapes. Also feast your eyes on the cleverly interwoven, floral installation, mirroring the sinuous snake-like shape of Sana Jardin’s logo.

An exciting collaboration of two brands committed to making a difference when it comes to social good. Sana Jardin’s mission to support the female harvesters in their supply chain through a flower recycling micro entrepreneurship programme in Morocco is in perfect harmony with COYA’s passion to champion native craftsmanship, ethical and artistic endeavor.
