Drinkmate Review
Drinkmate, is a leader in the home carbonation category and they recently expanded their line of home carbonating systems to include an arctic blue model. I was sent one to review and it’s been a game changer in our kitchen! The machine helps users enjoy healthier drinks from carbonated water to juice, and even cocktails. I even made sparkling wine with it!!!!
The website has quite a few recipes but our favourite was the Sparkling Margarita
2 oz. tequila
¾ oz. orange liqueur
2 oz. fresh lime juice
1 oz. fresh squeezed orange juice
½ oz. lemon juice
½ oz. agave syrup or honey
Run slice of lime around rim of glass and dip in salt. Caramba!
General Directions: Combine all liquid ingredients before carbonating. Add to Drinkmate bottle; up to the Max Fill line or below. Shake bottle to mix ingredients before carbonating. Push button or pull trigger to carbonate. Shake gently again for 5 seconds. Let stand 5 seconds, then release pressure, adjusting speed as needed to avoid foam reaching the top. Pour into ice filled glass if desired.
The new Arctic Blue home carbonator joins the existing color line that includes black, red, and white models. The Artic Blue looks amazing in my kitchen and does not take up much space which is perfect as our kitchen isn’t the biggest.
