DRY JANUARY? – Experience the mindful drinking festival by Club Soda

January is the month of diets, detoxes and gym memberships; it’s also the month where resolutions are made and broken. January fads come and go, be it Veganuary, R.E.D January or Dry January whatever the case it’s important to remember that maintaining a healthy body goes hand in hand with maintaining a healthy mind.

To help you sustain your good intentions and set achievable goals that will take you beyond January why not visit The Mindful Drinking Festival, brought to you by Club Soda the UK’s mindful drinking movement. The festival returns for its seventh year to take over The Truman Brewery on the 18th and 19th January, and its free to attend.

This is a perfect event for anyone that is looking to embrace Dry January with the opportunity to explore the low and no alcohol movement alongside wellbeing and mental health. The festival weekender will showcase over 60 of the world’s most innovative low and no-alcohol drinks brands; from craft beers, wines, spirits, lower-sugar sodas, tonics and infusions, including all your favourite cocktails with Lyre’s Non-Alcoholic Spirits.

There will be drink talks with the country’s top industry experts including Camille from La Maison Wellness, The Hox Southwark, Square Root Soda and Urban Pubs and Bars alongside inspirational talks and motivational panels by wellness and lifestyle influencers such as Sober Girl SocietyLove SoberAndy Ramage and Toni Jones.

Proving that low and booze free can still be refreshingly fun without compromise, guests will have the opportunity to attend free cocktail master classes hosted by Cocktails with Lyre’s and La Maison Wellness.

The official festival after show is the only place to be, and will be held at The Fugitive Motel in Bethnal Green. Fugitive will be running a special event called Drink the Bar: Dry, featuring vinyl DJs, a pop-up low & no cocktail Bar, shuffleboard knockout & sourdough pizza giveaway.

Who said sober was boring?
