Peppa Pig Review
A wet December morning suddenly turned pink as a line of eager and excited children and parents trying to control their excited kids, lined up outside Leicester Squares Duke York Theatre on the ‘pink carpet’ waiting to see Peppa Pig her family and friends.
Celebrating 10 years of the ever popular pink pig live, Peppa and her family invited us along with her human friend Daisy on a family road trip full of fun and adventure, where we explore castles and caves and meet dragons. Not ones to miss out on the fun, Suzy Sheep, Danny Dog and Gerald Giraffe all join Peppa on her best day ever with Miss Rabbit undertaking one of her many job roles as tour guide.
The venue lobby was swarmed with Peppa Pig memorabilia, from books and CDS to toys and balloons, there was something for all Peppa Pig lovers.
Anxious, enthusiastic kids, big and small, impatiently sat waiting for Peppa to arrive and shouted with glee when she finally did.
The show from beginning to end was full excitement and energy. Daisy kept the kids engaged throughout, inviting them to sing-a-long and dance. The light display caught the attention of a few babies in arms and saw their parents bopping and dancing when ‘Bing Bong Boo’ came on. (Guilty!)
With great surprise interactive content, this truly was one of my daughters Best Days Ever too.
