Half Term Fun

AUTUMN HALF TERM FUN

It’s approaching, the last half term of the year…and we all know what happens after that yep it’s the Christmas countdown.

Trees

This is the last chance to take a minute with the children before things get a big manic for the big day. The chances are the weather will be a bit rubbish but now is the perfect time to head off for an Autumn walk and see what you can find. The forests and woods with never have more colour and interesting things going on.

From the different coloured leaves to acorns and conkers growing on them oh and of course plenty of muddy puddles to jump in.

If an Autumn walk isn’t for you then during the half term week you’ve got Halloween which for us is the perfect time to create some fun Halloween arts and crafts activities from making scary pictures to pumpkin carving which we did for the first time last year and the girls loved it and at the end you get to enjoy some pumpkin soup.

Arts & Crafts

It also gave us the opportunity to enjoy a bit of trick or treating which is always fun for my girls as they get to dress up and at the end of it they usually have a cauldron full of sweets and what child doesn’t like that?

As well as the walks and halloween activities it’s also the perfect time to unwind and enjoy a couple of duvet days and watch a Disney film or two.

Have you any activities you plan on doing this half term?
