The Ivy Tower Bridge Thames Rocket Review
On Friday, I got to experience The Ivy Tower Bridge’s partnership with Thames Rockets, London’s first ever speedboat tour operator in London. The new experience costs £62 per person and involves an exhilarating sightseeing tour along the River Thames, followed by a refreshing gin & tonic and three course meal at The Ivy Tower Bridge.
It is available every Friday until the 31 August 2018 and is an amazing experience. We jumped on board the speedboat at St Katherine’s Pier and were taken on a fast paced 40 minute ride through the docklands, past maritime Greenwich, round the legendary O2 arena and beyond to the mighty Thames Barrier and back. It was so much fun! Having spent a couple nights this week on a canal boat, this was certainly a different pace – action packed and full of laughs…. not to mention a few screams.
The views along The Thames are absolutely stunning and not just for tourists… it’ll make you fall in love with London again. After the boat ended I ventured down to The Ivy Tower Bridge for a gorgeous meal. Included in the £62 prices, guests will enjoy a refreshing arrival drink and three course meal from The Ivy Tower Bridge’s set menu. There’s so much to choose from but I can’t recommend the Salmon enough. Absolutely perfect. You must also indulge in the truffle and Parmesan fries.
