Jam Shed Supper Club Review

A few weeks ago we revisited The Jam Shed Supper Club as they brought back MasterChef finalists to London’s Southbank Centre. We’d visited in the summer and couldn’t be more excited to revisit.

Having a large number of coeliac friends, it was great to visit the 2016 Masterchef winner, Jane Devonshire’s Gluten-Free Supper Club. She shared her Masterchef story and what made her to create a fully Gluten-Free lifestyle and cookbook. Her youngest son was diagnosed with Coeliac as a child and she needed to develop  meals her who family would enjoy.

We were treated to a number of dishes including Focaccia, Quiche and Salmon Scotch Eggs that we would not have guessed were Gluten Free if we had not been told. It was nice to see everyone enjoying their food and having a great time during the evening. Furthermore, it was lovely to hear every diner excited to be able to eat everything on the menu and not have to worry about their dietary requirements.

The full three course meal was absolutely lovely and we hope The Jam Shed Supper Club continued in the New Year. I was even lucky enough to take a signed copy of Jane’s cookbook home with me, so I can create my own Gluten Free feasts for my friends.

There’s only one week left to enjoy this fabulous experience so hurry up and get your tickets now! This week between the 11th Dec – 15th Dec, Sara Danesin will be cooking a feast for guests so it’s one not to miss out on.

In addition to having a great night out diners who attend the Supper Club will be supporting The Springboard Charity, which brings disadvantaged and underprivileged people into sustainable employment within hospitality, leisure and tourism. So what better reason to book tickets for the remaining week.

For those that miss out on the events, you can still enjoy Jam Shed Shiraz as it’s available from Tesco and Ocado for only £7.

The medium-sweet Shiraz is jam-packed with rich, opulent sweet red berry flavours balanced with a subtle hint of vanilla spice.

Tickets for the event cost £45

Doors open at 18:30, dinner at 19:30.
