KERB Market Review - ONIN London

KERB Camden Market is one of the largest street food markets in London and on Thursday the 11^th of August I got to head along to the opening. With over 35 street food vendors, there’s something to tickle ever tastebud and all in the name of science I was given free range to try it all. Along with all the food options, anyone could ever want, is the KERB bar, which showcases Camden brewed beers and Half Hitch Gin. Half Hitch Gin is distilled onsite and seriously Half Hitch Gin’s G&T’s are one of the best I’ve ever had. Make sure this is the first thing you order before making your way around the market trying to work out what to eat.

With 35 food vendors on site, it’s no wonder my friend and I didn’t manage to try all the food on offer but the vendors we did try were Burger & Beyond, Fundi Pizza, Ghetto Grillz, Mother Clucker, Cupcakes ‘n Shhht…, Hanoi Kitchen and Oli Baba’s. All of it was amazing but the standouts were definitely Oli Baba’s Halloumi Fries and Mother Clucker’s Buttermilk Chicken Strips and Cajun Fries. I could happily live off these for the rest of my life! Plus who knew that vegan and gluten free could taste so good! Cupcakes ‘n Shhht… did when they made their Strawberry and Matcha Cupcakes. These were so good! Actually who am I kidding, all the food we ate tonight were standouts. Ghetto Grillz ‘L.A Chicken Bagel’ was so full of flavour that I would have gone back for seconds and for a basic cheese and tomato pizza, Fundi Pizza’s was top notch. We’ll be definitely heading back to try out everything else during our next visit to Kerb Camden Market as food from The Mac Factory, Stakehaus, Blu Top Ice Cream and Toastits, looked and smelt extremely mouth-watering.

Open year round KERB Camden Market’s opening times include 11am-6pm Monday to Thursday, 11am-10pm on Friday and Saturday and 11am-7pm on Sundays. It’s definitely worth making your way to visit, just make sure you wear loose fitting pants to make room for all the delicious food and drinks available.
