Lantana – London Bridge serving you a spook-tacular Afternoon Tea

With Halloween slowly creeping up on us, it ‘ghosts without saying’ that we at On In London are looking forward to the spook-takular events taking place throughout the week. From Monday 25th until Friday 29th October Lantana in London Bridge will be conjuring up a spook-tacular twist to Afternoon tea. Taking inspiration from its Australian heritage, Lantana’s Halloween Afternoon Tea includes in house freshly baked devilishly twists on the much-loved Australian-classic Sweetcorn Blinis, served with ‘blood red’ beetroot cured salmon & chive sour cream and Sausage Rolls oozing with Plum Ketchup.

The ghoulish chocolate and pumpkin inspired treats will give you “pumpkin to talk about”. There are are no tricks among the selection of tempting sweet treats on offer which include ‘Pumpkin Spice & Apple Cake, ‘Pumpkin’ Carrot Cake, Mummy’ Brownies and Chocolate Mousse with Chocolate Crumble ‘Graves’.

Whats’ afternoon tea without quintessential fresh baked classic scones served with clotted cream and strawberry jam? perfectly paired with a choice of brews from Lantana’s house blend coffee or a hocus pokus variety of specialty teas from London based supplier Good and Proper tea. For an even more wickedly wonderful afternoon, guests can lift their spirits with the addition of Prosecco.
Partaking in an Afternoon tea is traditionally a well-mannered affair but we say boooo to that! Make the most of the relaxed London Bridge setting, grab your ghoul-friends, dress up and have a fang-tastic Halloween.
