LEON West End Review
Show tunes and fast food? Who would have thought this could be a winning combo? Well for someone who loves musicals and food… LEON’s latest store situated in the West End is a dream come true! LEON’s all singing restaurant debuted on the West End on the 13th of February 2017 and ONIN London got a sneak peek before it opened at the launch last week.
Those who have been to LEON before know the quality of the food and service is of high standard. Now not only can visitors get there healthy food fix, the staff are all talented young performers who can belt out a show tune just like the stars in the very West End where the store is located.
I got to see all the staff perform one of their favourite songs to showcase the talent in the store and while there were some hit and misses due to launch night nerves….It isn’t hard to see that this store is not going to be novelty but home to the talent of tomorrow. It probably didn’t help that most of the guests were talking instead of remaining quiet and listening to the cast perform. One particular cast member to look out for is Joseph Batchelor (@JosephBx) as he kept guests not only entertained with his astounding singing but with a variety of magic tricks that simply have to be seen.
With 45 LEON stores around the UK, LEON is passionate about their newest store and it’s not hard to see that a lot of work and creativity have gone into creating this one. One complaint I do have is that there’s only one toilet and it’s unisex. Now given the location and the size of this venue… this could cause a problem. But it’s one that we’re happy to overlook as we’re served Naturally Fast Food, and then listen to staff takingthe mic to sing a show tune.
Hurry up and make your way down to the West End LEON and see for yourself. It’s bound to be a hit with tourists and musical lovers alike!
