London Behind A Lens: Hidden Gems

Brick Lane 1

Yes, take me to the fields of gold, a place where I can inhale the succulent smell of a deep, smoked mahogany wood basket, filled with a handful of your most favourite farmyard fruit. Somewhere serene, peaceful, where my cells can reproduce, somewhere out the city.

Why, you ask? Because this city is saturated with noise, decrepitating buildings and thought battering idleness.
Oh, but my child you have NOT seen, you have not explored and you most certainly have your eyes closed.
Open them and therefore, you WILL see, you WILL explore and you most definitely will be pinched.
I, Rebecca Geohagen, have been pinched. London is a striking capital with many hidden gems that as a photographer (and a female Matthew Parker) I relish in.

The image you see is actually a hidden gem found in one of the Londons most labouring areas, Brick Lane. Who would have thought that this tranquil, desolate, meadow would be hurled adventitiously in London’s East End, known for its market trade, restaurants, youth culture, House music and general hustle with its sibling named bustle.

London is my hometown and as Wale Adeyemi pushesI love my city I do too. So it is my duty, to show you London through my little canon lens in its entirety.
