The charity Missing People is inviting supporters to join staff and volunteers at Carol Services which will be taking place across the UK this December to remember all those who are missing this Christmas. On Monday 7 December the carol service will come to St Martin-in-the-Fields, London.

Missing People offers a lifeline when someone disappears, supporting families left behind via their 24 hour confidential helpline 116 000 and raising awareness of those who are missing via important publicity partnerships including with the Royal Mail, Outsmart and Facebook. We are supported by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

Tickets are now available for the London service, which will be hosted by Patron, Sir Trevor McDonald OBE, with Christmas carols, moving tributes from families of missing people and uplifting music and hymns from The Choral Scholars of St Martin-in-the-Fields and the Missing People Choir, made up of family members, Missing People staff and volunteers. The proceeds of the carol service will go towards our annual “Home for Christmas” campaign. This year’s campaign hopes to raise funds to enable our helpline to run for a week between Christmas and New Year. Each week our helpline team is asked to launch more than 20 appeals for missing people, which are seen by millions. The team also responds to hundreds of emails, text messages and calls from desperate missing people, their distraught loved ones and members of the general public reporting sightings.

We hope you are able to join us to stand in solidarity and look forward to seeing you there.
