MAKEMORE Festival Announces Updated Line-Up

London’s first maker festival is taking to Victoria Park this August to bring together more than 100 artists, crafters, cooks and musicians. Visitors will experience hands-on workshops with the likes of Aardman (creators of Wallace and Gromit), Barn the Spoon and Turning Earth. Some of Britain’s most successful food writers, including Charlotte Pike and Dhruv Baker, will head up cooking demos, where attendees will learn how to whip up everything from Korean dumplings to the perfect cheese board, and from vegetarian Indian dishes to charcuterie.

Beyond that, the incredible roster of makers will lead classes, workshops and talks — name an activity or a skill you want to learn, MAKEMORE offers it. With a full line-up of free talks and demos, as well as bespoke small-group classes, the festival is truly a one-stop-shop to learn all about clay modelling (with Aardman!), street art, creative writing, bookbinding, bushcraft, and so much more.

Once you’ve absorbed all the knowledge you possibly could, you’ll be able to relax and enjoy the dozens of performers present at the festival: musicians and comedy acts, as well as cinema and cabaret!

This brilliantly unique festival runs from 23rd August to the 27th and tickets are available for purchase here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/makemore-the-festival-for-makers-and-doers-tickets-43085035501#tickets
