Natak Review

If you’re looking for authentic, modern Indian food, cooked with fresh ingredients look no further than Natak.

We received a delivery from Natak recently and I must say I was instantly impressed to see the food was housed in durable cardboard which could be recycled (no plastic here) and also by the presentation of some of the dishes, you could easily see time and care was put into creating these tubs of yumminess.

The Murg Makhanwala delighted our tastebuds immediately, buttery chicken, soft and tender, it was certainly one of our favourite dishes and the quickest to be devoured.

The Gosht Saagwala was also a winner in our books, Lamb entwined with spinach, ginger, garlic & selected whole spices. There was so much flavour in this dish, it went perfectly well with rice and the butter naans.

The Hyderabadi Chicken biryani was a delight to see and eat, it was the first time having a chicken biryani enclosed in freshly made bread. Layers of vegetables with saffron basmati rice, caramelised onions, cinnamon & cloves.

The Bombay Bhel was a nice colourful mix, again bursting with flavour and texture. We used the butter naans to mop up the Hara Bhara Murg Tikka dahl, which was cooked to perfection. There wasn’t one weak dish from Natak, yes we had our favourites, but they were all fresh hearty perfectly cooked dishes.

It was a Na-tak on the senses!
