Nereus London – Shampoo and Conditioner Review

Finding good vegan haircare can be a challenge, getting your hands on an ethical shampoo and conditioner, which leaves your hair feeling soft and silky and at the same time produced to be kinder to your body and the environment, somehow isn’t always easy.

However recently I was lucky to be introduced to Nereus London, a sustainable hair and body brand, when I heard about their Australian Buddha Wood & Bergamot Shampoo and Conditioner, it sounded too good to not try out.

Firstly I must touch on the packaging, which is black and gold, giving it a luxury look and feel, but more importantly the bottles are recyclable, non-plastic and biodegradable, which is a big win.

When you open the bottle to pour the shampoo into your hands you are immediately hit with the fragrances of musky Buddha Wood and spicy Bergamot Essential Oils. It had a unique and daring fragrance which I absolutely love! The Shampoo utilises Pomegranate Enzymes to exfoliate the scalp, with leaves your hair naturally rejuvenated and nourished.

The conditioner is also enriched with Australian Buddha Wood and spicy Bergamot Essential Oils, and has a nice rich texture to it. I left the creamy conditioner on for 5 minutes before washing off. It uses Phytessence™ Wakame to moisturise, strengthen and protect your hair.

After blowdrying my hair, I could see how nourished and sleek my hair looked, it was soft to touch and smelled exotic. You will find all products are paraben-free, sulphate silicone free and vegan.

This is a brand I want to shout about, they don’t contain harmful chemicals, the bottles are non-plastic and recyclable, they are made in the UK and they have teamed up with Plastic Bank. What does this mean? It means for every bottle of Nereus products purchased, Plastic Bank will prevent 1 kg of ocean-bound plastic from further polluting our planet. This brand cares about you and the planet, we love finding brands that care and are making a difference in the world!
Price: £25.00 each or £50.00 for the set.
