Onin.London Visits The Montagu Kitchen & Lounge

We were invited to The Montagu Kitchen & Lounge, in the five-star Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill in Marylebone to try their new lavish Sunday roast offering.
Celebrating the best of English seasonal produce and priced at £45 per person, we enjoyed a sharing board of succulent and perfectly cooked roast beef, with a roasted garlic rub. The sharing board from the Ethical Butcher will rotate weekly, including tender striploin; rich rib of beef, or succulent lamb shoulder, each carefully prepared to perfection.
The roast was served with some of the most perfect crispy duck fat potatoes, seasonal vegetables including sweet red cabbage and charred broccoli, and a delicious Yorkshire pudding, all perfectly complemented by The Montagu Kitchen and Lounge’s delicious signature homemade gravy.
Whilst we were both meat eaters, The Montagu Lounge & Kitchen also offers a fish or vegetarian dish of the day, and a vegan option is available upon request.
Guests are also given the opportunity to upgrade their dining experience by adding a selection of starters and desserts to share for an additional £23 per person, elevating the meal to a true feast. Two hours of bottomless bubbly can also be added to the Sunday roast experience for an additional £35 per person.

During our Sunday roast, we were serenaded by a musician, singing classic pop songs with his guitar and each Sunday, there will be live singers and entertainment to bring the atmosphere to the cosy dining room.
Referring to The Montagu Kitchen & Lounge’s Sunday roast, Executive Chef Carlo Martino says: “Inspired by the fond memories of gathering around the table with family and friends on a Sunday afternoon, where time slows down, delicious food abounds, and the air is full of laughter and joy.”
