Continuing A Good Old-Fashioned Christmas Whisky series, for 2024 the brand have sourced another batch of rich, fruity 15-year-old Scotch single malt matured in ex-oloroso sherry casks. This year’s release is limited to 1400 bottles and each one is filled to the brim with notes of fruit cake, orange zest and roasted nuts. It can be enjoyed however you prefer to drink whisky, however it pairs especially well with dark chocolates, mince pies or even a little blue cheese. They believe this style epitomises traditional sherried whiskies of the past – perfect to enjoy and share with loved ones this festive season.

The GlenAllachie 12-year-old (RRP £54) 

Matured in Sherry, red wine and virgin oak casks, this Speyside single malt Scotch whisky is incredibly indulgent with an overriding Christmas cake character alongside grated nutmeg, stem ginger and Yule log. Undoubtedly the ideal whisky for cosy festive nights.
