The most glamourous pleasure-seekers in London are once again invited to the notorious Prohibition Party on Saturday 5th September, for one of the most lavish and oppulent parties of the year.
Presented by party connoisseurs, Bourne & Hollingsworth, this wonderful soiree will be held in a secret location in East London, transporting guests back to an era of fur draped ladies and slick haired gents.
The Prohibition Party invites guests to relive the unrestrained partying of 1920s socialites, morals are forgotten and mischief is summoned. Guests can get footloose and fancy free to the enthralling big bands, or try their hand at the roulette table. An atmosphere of sensation and allure will be created with the sounds, cocktails and styles of the unforgettable Golden Age.
Throughout the evening, entertainment will include live bands, DJs on gramophones, dancing troupes and gambling tables. Stylish revelers can sip on the free-flowing bootlegged booze, and in order to escape the prying eye of the police, cocktail menus will be hidden inside pages of books, with drinks served in dainty tea-cups.
The speakeasy atmosphere, decadent ensembles and tastefully themed venue mean guests at Prohibition are fully immersed in a furtive revival of an enchanting past. Gentlemen can look suave in tuxedo and spats, whilst ladies can channel their inner Coco; unfeasibly beautiful and exhaustingly glamorous in tassels and pearls.
For those inclined to hone their Charleston steps to perfection, tickets are available for a dance class from 7pm-8pm. Tickets are priced at £30 and cover the 1-hour dance class prior to the event, plus access to the party.
