Quaglino’s Q Legends: An Evening Of Whitney review

You know by now we love Quaglinos, the bar, food and the drinks are amazing. We’ve reviewed events there a couple of times and we will always go back. The bar can do no wrong.

Last Thursday I visited to spend the night enjoying an Evening With Whitney. I’ve been a long time fan of Whitney and have even seen her live in concert before her untimely death. She was amazing! So how was Quaglino’s going to hold up to my precious memories of listening to the Queen serenade me in Adelaide.

I didn’t have anything to worry about as Phebe Edwards was fantastic. If I closed my eyes I was back standing in the Adelaide Entertainment Centre listening to Whitney. It probably isn’t a surprise because she has had an impressive career supporting the likes of: Adele, John Newman, James Brown, Jessie J, Rod Stewart, Lemar, Primal Scream, Donna Summer, Gabrielle, Anastasia, Westlife and Olly Murs.

We sat listening to her while drinking delicious cocktails such as the Cheating Bride and Wild and Beautiful. It definitely got us in the mood for dancing by the time Phoebe belted out classic hits such I Wanna Dance With Somebody and I’m Every Woman. Other guests at Quaglino’s obviously felt the same as there were few people sitting by this stage.

Quaglino’s has woo’d us again, though it’s really no surprise. Visit http://www.quaglinos-restaurant.co.uk/ to find out the other events Quaglino’s has planned for the remainder of their Q Legends Summer Series.
